The Science Fair

Dear Parents / Guardians,

             5th Annual Horizon Science Academy Dayton Elementary Science Fair will be held on Saturday, Feb 27 2010. Our students are engaged in science very much and we hope to improve their interest in science by organizing science fairs in our school and participating in different science related events. We would be honored to have you and your family during our in-school science fair and the award giving ceremony on Saturday morning, February 27th. Your participation will demonstrate how important these children’s efforts are, and how you support them in their work.

This uniquely designed program allows students to teach and express themselves and to discover something exciting and new – on their own terms. Part of each student’s task is to identify and choose the tools he or she will need to conduct and complete their project. Over time, students will complete science projects through junior and senior high school, the process will yield more mature, self-confident, skilled, and competitive young leaders who have career goals, and the preparation, discipline, and drive to attain those goals.

• Check in, setting up of exhibits, and safety/regulations inspection.
